We are pleased to announce the arrival of our Baby Girl Madison Kay Marteney. She was born Wednesday, December 13th at 8:33pm weighing 7lbs 12oz and 20 1/2 inches long.
We are all doing well and are so in love with her.
We had an appt this morning at my request to discuss induction and see where my progress was. Amazingly I am now 3+cm and 80%effaced. Madison is at -1 station. If she hasnt come tonight we are going in for an induction at 9am tomorrow. We will have a baby tomorrow!!! I am so excited to have an end in site. I thought I would be more nervous about it being scheduled and knowing when it was happeneing but really I am feeling very relieved to know she will be here.
We can't wait to mee our little girl tomorrow. Our lives are about to change forever.
Well I guess you could say we have been anxiously awaiting Madison's arrival for months, but now it seems like we are sitting on eggshells.
Thanksgiving night I had 3 contractions 10min apart that made us wonder if we could be getting close. They have been off and on for days but the last 24hrs has brought on many more than at any point before. Sunday I will be 38weeks so we are still technically 2weeks from our due date but I really dont think we will make it that far. We can't wait to meet our little miracle girl.
I find myself daydreaming about her and what life will be like when she comes. Will she have hair like her mommy or be a bald baby like her daddy? Who will she look like? What will her personality be like? Will she be a good sleeper? I know that no matter what we are going to be head over heels in love with her. I will miss her movements inside of me, but am looking forward to kissing her sweet cheeks and hearing her coos. And seeing the look on her daddy's face as she enters our world.
Please continue to pray for us as we enter into this next phase, Labor and Delivery, and the much awaited journey of Parenthood.

With our lives about to change forever I decided we needed a way to keep our family and friends up to date.
Baby Madison is due to arrive December 17, 2006. We are preparing for her arrival daily it seems. Baby clothes, gear, and everything in between. As much as I am enjoying every moment of being pregnant we cannot wait until she is in our arms. We are so excited for our Miracle Girl to come.
Please follow us along the rest of this pregnancy journey and as we enter into our new journey of Parenthhood. I am sure we will have some funny stories along the way.
