Pumpkin Expedition

Our first attempt at the pumpkin patch with our Mommy to Mommy group was cancelled due to rain. Last weekend as soon as the rain broke we headed out to Lakeview Farms. I was not about to miss out on this momentous photo op.
Madison has been every year to this farm (last year was with my mom as I was horribly sick with the boys). She loves the train, boat ride, and animals. She has talked about it all year long.
This year Grandma Dolly and Papa John made a trip up to join us.

She found the perfect pumpkin and then found 2 more for her brothers.

Micah
This picture took many attempts. He kept wanting to touch it.
We were lucky to get his head up in a picture.

Mason

Also many attempts that did not result in everyone looking at once. Maybe next year.

Train ride back with our pumpkins.

Mason slept most of the trip.

Finally, a comparison. Madison at 10 months (first pumpkin patch trip) and at 2 years 10 months.

She is growing way too fast.

6 wonderful years

On October 4th we celebrated our 6year wedding anniversary. For all of our previous anniversaries we have managed to get away to either the beach, Seattle, or Downtown Portland. This year was no exception, but a little different than normal. We had 3 co travelers. {grin}
We made it a family weekend to Lincoln City. It was a great trip. We got a great room with an awesome view and private beach access. It even had a separate room for Madison so we didn't have to be in bed at 8pm as well. We watched several movies, went to Mo's for lunch, made sand castles (Madison style), did some shopping, and just had good family time. Everyone did very well. The boys even got their first feel of sand.

Micah kept digging his toes in.

Mason was pretty unimpressed. Not much reaction. Just wiggled his feet a bit.

There were some cool sea anemone in these rock pools.

Yes they are swaddled. It was nap time. Hey it worked and sister got to play.

Following Daddy.

She was totally afraid of the water. It snuck right up and she freaked out. Notice Matt laughing.

The finished sand castle. This is like number 5. She kept smashing them.

Our supposedly rainy weekend was beautiful. We cannot wait to do it again.

Thank you babe for a wonderful weekend. I cannot wait for many more years to come.

Playing catch up...AGAIN!

This post is for the FIU! Thanks for folllowing along guys.
Here is a collection of some cute random pics.

Feeding has become a huge portion of our lives lately. It has been fun to see what they like.
This is just a portion of the baby food it takes for 2 babies. My freezer is full of homemade food as well.

I love this picture!
(It was totally posed. I never give up a chance to hold my boys for a feeding.)

They have enjoyed almost every food we have tried and love to eat. If you look back at past pictures you can see how much they are really chunking up. at 5 1/2 month they are both about 16lbs.

They are in love with their big sister. Here are Micah and Madison lounging together. They squeal when she comes up and hugs and kisses them. I love this relationship.
They are both finally rolling both ways and love their tummies most of the time.

Mason and Madison snugglin.

They are both enjoying the excersaucer and jumperoo as well. It is nice to have an upright place for them to play. I am sure they were sick of staring at the toys from their back on the play mat.

Watching TV with daddy.

Can you say good daddy! He will probably kill me for posting this. :)

Enjoying a fall walk. First time in the stroller not in car seats. So big!

Daddy is teaching them to say Go Beavers much to mommy's dismay!

Meeting Aunty Tawny and seeing Uncle Michael again.
Aunt Ally with the boys wearing the onsies she bought them.
(Johnny Cash Folsom Prison and Crawl the Line)

Meeting family friends Jon and Ashlee.

The boys have had a few opportunities to stay with Nana and Poppy this month. We got a dinner and movie date night, Mason went to stay for a few hours while I did Pass it on Sales stuff, and both boys stayed while we took Madison to Disney on Ice. Thank you Thank you!

Sydney is still not sure of the boys, but this view is fun!

Back to baby food- Green Beans are not a fave.

They actually gag! Luckily a little applesauce mixed in solves it.

To cute to resist!

They are trying to sit up but not there yet. They sit supported in your lap really well.
The Bebe Pod seats are fun too.

I will be be back with pictures from our Anniversary trip to the beach, Pumpkin Patch, and Disney on Ice. Hope you enjoyed seeing how everyone is growing and changing.
