My birthday has come early this year. My present arrived in the mail Friday morning. It was such a great deal Matt let me order it over a month early.
It is a die cut machine and oh so much more. I know it doesn't look like much but it can do tons. Watch for future posts on my projects. That is of course assuming that I will be able to make time with 3 children. I have big hopes for some adorable cards and maybe even some scrapbooking. That might be a stretch though. {grin} I did spend about an hour the other night learning how it works and practicing some cuts. My next purchase will need to be some adorable paper to get started. I am very excited!!!

See you again next year
Good bye summer it has been fun! Somehow it feels like fall is already upon us. I am very excited for this new season. I love the colors and smells of fall. I am very excited to dress up my 3 little ones in their adorable costumes and making at least one trip to the pumpkin patch.
It should be an exciting season as the boys will be everywhere before I know it. Since my last post Micah has rolled over both ways now. He does not stay still. If he is on the floor he is constantly at least rolling onto his side and rotating on his back in circles. Mason got a bit closer to rolling tummy to back this week. But I think I hurt his feelings by making him cry and work through it for a bit. He was mad any time I set him down the rest of the day. The last few days he has been trying to roll back to tummy but is getting hung up on his arm. He also has started to like standing in our laps. He also found his voice this week and has been talking non stop. Even more that Micah which is rare.
Both boys have also started to FINALLY enjoy baths. Until a week ago they would scream through the whole process. Now they smile and talk. Madison loves taking a bath with her brothers and saying, "Sister is here. Mom he likes his bath now!!! "
I feel like we are really developing quite a routine now. They are becoming more scheduled in their feed and sleep patterns. This makes getting out to do things a little easier. And all 3 kids have been napping at the same time for weeks. YAY! This is a very wonderful time of day. I can honestly say that life with twins is pretty fun! Everyone is adjusting well.
Madison is now 37" and 34 lbs. And she sings. ALL DAY LONG! I love it. And not just little kid songs. She sings all my ringtones and several worship songs. So fun. We have started singing together after we pray at bedtime. She has her favorites. She seems to be leaving the 2's behind and looking forward to the obedient 3's. All of a sudden this week it is like she is trying to obey and be helpful. This makes for a happy mommy and Madison. {grin}
And finally here are some pictures of our summer fun. This should get me caught up at least through August. :) Be back soon with more.

too far behind...
I am so far behind I don't even know where to begin. Summer seems to have passed by without me even realizing. We had had some fun recently enjoying the warm days before they all disappear. We went to the zoo, I got a girl's weekend away to the beach with just the babies, Enchanted Forest, many birthday parties, and both the Washington County and Oregon State Fairs. Hopefully pictures will follow soon. For now please enjoy this family picture taken at the state fair last weekend.
The boys will be 4 months old next week. They are both just over 12lbs now. They are actually almost exactly the weight Madison was at this age. They are sleeping 9-11hours( one 12 hour) at night. They are both laughing and so much fun. They talk or coo like crazy and love to smile the second they see a happy face. They both have found their hands and fingers and are constantly sucking on them. I have a feeling they may be thumb suckers. For now I am pushing the binky.
Micah loves to be upright either sitting on your lap or standing. Mason is content to just lay and watch either in your arms or on his playmat. They are so different from each other. They have both started to grab toys and pull them to their mouths. Micah is trying to roll back to tummy but gets hung up on his arm. Again Mason is just content to stay where he is. He doesn't seem to have the desire to move much. I am curious to see what the timing differences are for crawling and walking between them. Athough I am not ready to really think about that yet. I am still in shock that they are 4 months. We are starting cereal this next weekend with a spoon. I love the food stage!
Madison is doing great as well. She is so patient with the babies and loves to play with them and get them to smile at her. She gets some of the best reactions. I will start to instruct her to be gentle only to see the babies grinning ear to ear. To funny!
I promise to return soon with more updates.
